The all-new Peugeot 5008 features a bold design, hybrid performance, and a spacious 7-seat layout, making it a strong contender in the modern SUV segment.

The latest generation of the Peugeot 5008 has officially been unveiled, showcasing a complete redesign that focuses on space, comfort, and modern hybrid performance. The three-row SUV now offers a more refined driving experience, targeting families and long-distance travelers alike.

One of the most notable upgrades is its increased body size. The new model measures approximately 4,810 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,735 mm in height, making it larger than its predecessor. This growth directly contributes to a more spacious cabin, especially in the third row, where passenger comfort has been significantly improved.

Inside, the 5008 continues to deliver practicality with seating for up to seven passengers. The second-row seats feature a sliding function of up to 150 mm, allowing flexible legroom adjustment depending on passenger or cargo needs. Additionally, each seat in the second row can recline independently, enhancing comfort on longer journeys.

Cargo space has also been optimized. Even with all three rows in use, the vehicle offers a generous luggage capacity, making it suitable for both daily commuting and family trips.

Under the hood, the new 5008 introduces a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor. This hybrid setup enables smooth and efficient driving, especially in low-speed urban conditions where electric-only driving is possible. The system is designed to balance fuel efficiency with responsive performance.

The updated model also incorporates modern design elements, including a sleek exterior profile and a more premium interior layout, aligning with current automotive trends.

In Japan, the starting price for the new Peugeot 5008 is set at approximately ¥5,810,000 (tax included), positioning it competitively within the mid-size SUV segment.

With its improved practicality, hybrid technology, and refreshed design, the new 5008 aims to strengthen its position in the global SUV market.
